Great value. Excellent accommodation.

Viangbua is a serviced accommodation facility with many guests living there long term; many of the rooms are apartments with kitchens...lots of ex-pats. Having said that, and having stayed in similar places, it is to all intents and purposes a hotel, and a nice one at that. There is ample underground parking, good security, rooms are very large, everything works, room servicing is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful etc. Breakfast is more than adequate and good at this room rate...we paid 750 Baht a night inc breakfast; the best value we've had this trip. Location is not ideal for tourists as away from the main attractions in a Thai neighbourhood area, but fine if you have a car or if you are happy to use taxis or tuk tuks, but it's beyond easy walking distance to the old city for example. Very highly recommended and will certainly stay again.

Satisfactory hotel in not a great location.
