Not Great

Our stay here wasn't exactly fantastic. On our first night we were greeted by unfriendly staff who took us to our room, which i will admit is a really good size, loved the location as its far away from the noisy town but close enough to walk to. Unfortunately our bathroom was dirty and our shower would not drain properly. We called someone to fix it but they didn't do a great job as it continued to fill. We decided to stay a further 2 nights as we loved the location & the pool but as we left the first room, I was accused of taking 2 ice teas even though we had never opened the fridge! Our second room was not much better, safe did not work and toilet had hairs and dirt on it. We also noticed that the staff were lazy- there are tea and coffee facilities in the lobby but I re-filled the coffee mate myself twice as no one had tendered to it. When we returned one evening after our day out, our cups were still sitting where we left them. Last but not least, we paid extra for the breakfast on our last two days and were horribly disappointed. I wasn't too fussed on returning the next morning but my partner wanted to see if it were any better. We were a little pleased until we found MOULD on one of the omelettes! My partner took it to reception to which they replied that everything was fresh. No compensation, no apology, they just kept explaining that it was cooked fresh that morning. We understood that although it may have been cooked fresh, the utensils were clearly not clean. We asked for a refund for our breakfast that morning and they gave it back to us. I hate to be negative but I know that reviews always helped us when booking a place and so I hope our experience will help others or at least we hope that the staff may see this and pick up their game a little.
