Pretty good choice in Phi Phi

It's hard to find great value on Phi Phi - it's so much more expensive than the mainland. There are no hand towels - a bit unusual & beds are made up at strange times - we are out until 330pn & then they ask us if we want to the room made up?? (Oh those first world problems!). Staff are pretty friendly. Pool is great. Just don't take the buffet breakfast or you'll be disappointed. Mango Garden a pretty good breakfast choice, for dinner you CANNOT go past the "Thai Food" guy in the market, it's written in blue at the market (which isn't really a market). He's just a one man band but has incredible good - a Gordon Ramsey without the attitude. Have you tried deep fried banana fritters - well here's your chance - at the end they sell this for 20 baht, amazing!!

Good place for a few days

Decent hotel away from the party area yet in convenient walking distance to restaurants/bars

disgusting smell in the room

Long walk from pier and shopping/pub scene. No sea view at all - don't know where they get the "sea view" in the hotels name. 500 baht deposit for key. Lots of rules - I guess they get lots of scrotes... อ่านต่อ
