Good location, nicely planned room layout
Overall i had a pleasant first stay at Hotel Indigo. Most likely will return. The location is perfect for commuting in BKK to the hot spots. I loved the fact that this was my first hotel where the rooms were laid out differently (in a squarish shape instead of a usual long rectangle) which made it more comfortable in my opinion. Bathroom is pretty spacious and smartly designed with good fixtures (except for the rain shower). Wifi is pretty good. I didnt try the food so cant comment.
But by no means is this a 5 star hotel as it is listed on websites. This is a limited service hotel, with no luggage assistance, no turndown service, room service is not available 24 hours. The staff are very polite and courteous but again with limited knowledge. When I asked for an airport transfer to the receptionists, they looked pretty confused on how to organise it and finally one of their smart doormen came to help me out. Housekeeping also forgot to refresh water bottles in the room so I suppose they need some additional training and checks.
