Hotel not fully built
The rooms were very nice and consistent with a 5 star, however the rest of the hotel disappointed in terms of facilities; no bar except the poolside one which shuts at 8pm, 1 overpriced restaurant which served the worst food I had in Thailand, the most basic gym ever with no air con so it's completely worthless in 30C+ heat, a spa that's "coming soon" (what use is that when I've paid for it now because it's advertised as having one?), a sliding shutter that is controlled from inside the bedroom and covers the massive bathroom window that leads into the bedroom (so you can open it to watch your friends or family take a **** if you want to... and they'll be powerless to stop you (just absolutely LOL at this, what on earth is the point?!), and finally the smallest thing - a table tennis table with no net hahahaha.... so yeah, a table basically.
Otherwise the rooms were very nice & the staff fantastic. But this unfinished 'resort' (11/2016) should be a 4 star hotel, not 5 star resort
