RUDE, DECEPTIVE TWO FACED MANAGEMENT!! HORRIFIC!

We stayed here over New Year along with my brother and his wife, who were staying for their honeymoon. To cut a long story short, we were given a room that had bed bugs. When I informed the management the follow day, specifically the hotel manager, a Philippino named Chet, he was so gracious-forever apologetic and smiling- he really sounded like he couldn't do enough to compensate us for putting us in the room for two days. In fact, he offered us a couple of days as compensation in a private villa to take within the next six months- he said he'd email me that day! Or so we thought. Over the next few weeks, I tried to get hold of him and he just evaded my calls. When I finally spoke to him, he was rude, incommunicative and used the fact that I wasn't standing in front of him to basically forfeit the promises he'd made when we were face to face. He is a pathetic, deceptive and rude man! DO NOT STAY HERE! The customer service is horrific for a 2 star hotel, let alone a 4 star! Pathetic!

Facilities were very nice, staff excellent, but location suboptimal
