Management/Teething issues

Understandably there are some issues with the reopening of this resort. Sadly Covid has clearly had an effect - unfinished properties, some untidy areas which I can tell would usually be pristine.
The lack of managerial persons is clear. Staff are lovely and helpful but they look bemused a lot of the time. There doesn’t seem to be an overarching person in charge to make this place run like a five star resort should.
General information was not given upon arrival and we had to ask for everything which became annoying.
Pros:
Location. Breathtaking island. Nature everywhere. Large, clean rooms. Pool access with outside area. Varied and tasty breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Golf buggy shuttles.
Free use of SUP - if it wasn’t for this, I don’t think I’d be as positive on the whole. We are big water enthusiasts so we felt the stay was worth it based on the use of these and the opportunity to reach the nearby island and beaches around the coast.
Cons: Lack of information - breakfast times, wifi, how to use the TV (if you wanted), where to get pool towels (nobody knew), suggestions of things to do, where to get SUP - we just took them from the unlocked shed in the end because we got tired of asking. The shower in the room 2204 backed up. Plastic seating by pool access - where are the sunbeds? If this was full capacity, only 12 people could sunbathe by the main pool unless you want to lay on a stone floor. One sun umbrella at the whole place - this is unacceptable really. Pools were unclean - looked clean from afar but were not (algae on all the filters, white bits floating throughout). No sofa in room despite a huge space for one which was weird. No hooks to hang anything. Food and drink prices expensive and nothing particularly special - they have you by the balls here though. Some fans in the restaurant would be welcomed as obviously there are more insects here.
