Not everything I expected from other reviews

I have to say, I was thoroughly disappointed in Avatar. The breakfast was horrible and pretty much everything was picked over. The staff was super slow to respond to any requests. If you have a late flight, forget it. They require you to shower in the pool area, which is extremely uncomfortable. The staff was a bit short in communication. The rooms are just OK. The idea of having a swim up room is cool, but in reality, it just means that people are swimming outside your window the whole time. There was loud pounding noises every morning. I was not a fan. Try other places in Railay.

Good location
