Quiet location, sleepy town

There was an initial mix up with our pick up by the hotel which meant we were at the airport waiting for about 40 minutes. They were very apologetic but make sure that they note your arrival in their log book when booking this. Fast, efficient check in. The rooms were kept clean and fresh drinking water was provided daily. Breakfast was good - it was a buffet but you could get fresh eggs cooked to order if you wished. Not too far from the night market to walk although walking anywhere seems to be alien to the tuk tuk drivers who will ask if you need a lift. We got rides to the old city for either 60 or 80 baht depending if we were going/returning from inside the old city walls.
