Beautiful getaway

Islanda is perfect if you literally just want to get away. Don't expect many amenities outside of the hotel nor sandy white beaches on the island. The beach is nothing to shout about but the hotel is lovely for lazing around.

Koh Klang is a largely fishermans island so take a bike ride around the villages, loan DVDs and books from the hotel and chill out all evening on the large comfy bean bags in the hotel's breezy common areas.

We found the hotel staff to be fabulous and the cocktails even better!

definitely recommend a couple of nights at Islanda if you're looking for some time out (or time together). Nice complement to an overall thailand stay.

Sanctuary in the middle of the tourist bustle

Wonderfully relaxing hotel with gorgeous bungalows

Lovely rooms, excellent food, but not nicest beach
