See Chaweng Beach without the crowds

The resort exceeded our expectations. We had read glowing reviews before our trip, but nothing prepared us for the beautiful views. While the spa and restaurant prices were a bit higher than what we could have gotten in town, they were still a bargain compared to anything back home. Be sure to sign up for the cooking class -- it was a treat to go to the local market with the chef, then prepare four dishes per person. There was so much food, we were allowed to have our leftovers for dinner by room service!
