We absolutely loved Chedi Home! We were travelling with 2 teenagers (who had a room in the main building), and a 6 year old and 1.5 year old who stayed with us in the larger room with a balcony.
First of all, Chedi Home is full of character! The restaurant and front desk are covered but essentially outside as you walk in. The pool isn't huge (we're in the heart of Chiang Mai after all) but is actually cool which is so refreshing. It's within walking distance to the Old City, in the opposite direction it's a 15 minute walk to a local morning market, there is a fantastic little restaurant a 1 minute walk down the road (Cat House Restaurant).
This is one of my favourite places we stayed at while in Thailand. Great value for the money. The staff was so helpful in helping us plan day trips or giving us suggestions on where to go. The breakfast was delicious and the fruits changed every morning (check out Instagram for pictures). They provided a fantastic baby cot which made our life so much easier. Personally, I would try to book the larger room again as it was really nice sitting on the balcony in the evenings. I have only good things to say about Chedi Home. Loved it.
