Nice Stay

First stay at the Regent on Samui. There was construction on-site, which was meant to be only between 9 am and 6 pm, although I did hear them working well after 6 pm.
The initial room they offered me (Superior Bungalow) was not private and was near the construction area. They showed me a second Bungalow, which I thought was just okay for a hotel like the Regent. Finally, they offered me a free upgrade to Deluxe, which was much nice. It was a bit musty the first day or so, but improved after that.
Breakfast was okay. Never had dinner there. The pools were nice. I preferred the beachside pool, but it was too crowded to find a spot the second day.
There was a business group at the hotel that weekend that was rather obnoxious at the pool one day.
Otherwise, the staff was helpful and friendly and location good on Chaweng beach.
