We stayed here for four nights and booked in advance. It was our first hostel in Koh Lipe. The idea of sleeping in big barrel seems nice and they also look good. The chill out area at the reception looks really nice and it is cool to relax in the big beanbags.
There are seperated bathrooms with toilettes and showers for men and women, which are really clean and with cold water only.
Sleeping in the barrels with just a fan and outside temperatures of 30 degree was a nightmare. During the day it gets really hot in the barrels and the fan doesn't really help.
It was hard to find the hostel and even the people living on Koh Lipe made contrary statements regarding the place of the hostel. It is close to Rock Stones Bar in the center of the Island.
Close to the Island is some kind of bar with music and a loud bass until around 2pm.
