Great hotel-best location close to everything
for a couple our age and considering the heat and humidity this time of the year, the air conditioned beautifully appointed room leading to the porch into the pool was great. the eateries where everywhere - whether a roadside vendor or a cafe, either open air or with cooling fans. food always excellent and drink just as good. massages excellent value for money - one hour massage 300 baht followed by excellent ginger tea. suggestions to the owners - dividing walls separating the porches to the ground level oceanview rooms did not allow for ventilation. mesh would provide just as much privacy whilst allowing the flow of air to make it comfortable. room 301 was the only room that had an extended porch due to the palm tree having to be built around. second suggestion, the restaurant would have been so much more pleasant if it had ceiling fans at the very least as the venue itself was smack on the beach. fans would also have dispersed those pesky flies. i know this to be true as the one morning that there was a bautiful breeze coming through, there was hardly a fly in the spacious comfortable open room. breakfast and coffees are all i had there and i enjoyed both. our children went to a lot of trouble researching the best place near them and this hotel at sairee beach won out for comfort (mesh and fans please) and closeness to everything - massages, food, diving and snorkelling, great night life, great flora and very friendly people.
