My favorite hotel in Thailand!
this was by far the best place we stayed in during our stay in northern thailand. the rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. we stayed in a few different rooms but our favorites were 15 and 16 which both overlooked the river. we got a very good rate as we were there during the low season in august. also included in the price was a delicious breakfast. in addition to the breakfast we also tried other dishes at the restaurant, which is very beautifully situated right next to the river. even though there aren’t a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, the staff was happy to cook vegetarian for my partner and i. everything we ate there was wonderful, but remember to tell the chef if you don’t want your food too spicy! i particularly recommend the unusual sounding, but amazing, lychee green curry. last but not least, we want to mention the staff, which was amazing. the waitresses, the chef, and the wonderful manageress anchalee all went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable one. if we could give this hotel a higher mark, we would. we can’t wait to go there again.
