Spent alone time just sitting around, reading a book, sit on the swing while watching the sun set (they have got beautiful sun set but while I was there, it was too cloudy to witness the perfect sunset), food was generally good (I especially like the green curry chicken cutlet) & beach is beautiful (well, it's the virgin beach of Koh Samui). Thai massage wasn't fantastic but the masseur's really nice and motherly, putting in effort to talk to you despite her lack of her command in English. They have fireworks at around 8pm, something definitely not to be missed (I missed it 'cos the first night, I didn't know and was stuck in the shower. The second night cos it was drizzling and thought they weren't gg to put it but they did and I was too late for it while I hesitated.). Part of the reason why I missed the fireworks on the second night's 'cos I was alone. The individual "huts" I call them, can be quite scary at night. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in the huts with garden view if you are traveling alone due to how the interiors are done up. (Well, I think a lot and scare myself quite a bit.) But after all, I never regretted my stay at Am Samui. :)
