Good value

Stayed here before crossing the boarder into Laos. Hotel is right on the river so the location is good. Rooms have a view of the river. The restaurant serves good quality local food. The Hotel is currently being renovated so there was lots of building materials around the place and noise. Not too much choice for mid priced hotels in this town so overall it was ok.

Chiang Khong is a (very) small town at the border of Thailand. As other comments, tourists come here just for a night stay, waiting to transfer to boat trips in the morning in Laos. The hotel is good ... อ่านต่อ
