Good Hotel for the Price

My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights while traveling around Kanchanaburi. Tara Bed is a great deal for the price. The room was basic and slightly worn, but clean. The air con worked well, the shower pressure was good, and the staff was helpful. The room was relatively quiet with no noise from the street, although one of the nights we did hear some fellow guests being rather loud - the walls are on the thin side. We did not get breakfast included, but choose to have breakfast there one day. Eggs were fine but the coffee was dreadful. Dinner was much better - good noodle dishes and cocktails. There is a pool available to use, although we did not check it out. The location is great, with tons of bars and restaurants nearby. It was a 15 minute walk to the Bridge, and there were plenty of taxis around if you didn't feel like walking. If you're looking for a no frills bargain, this is a solid choice.

good comfortable room in the backpacker district
If you want a comfortable room and a comfortable bed in the backpacker district for a reasonable price, this is it. I plan to go back. That is really all the hotel has to offer though, so don't expect... อ่านต่อ

Amazing value, luxurious rooms
