Convenient, expensive, western

The resort is clean and has nice facilities. It feels like a western colony though, so it doesn't have much of an authentic Thai feeling. I find it is very expensive for what you get. Big minus is the abscence of real hot water in the shower. In the hotel room booklet it says they use residual power from the air conditioning, so if you don't run ac you don't get any hot water! In our experience, even whith the ac on there was no hot water in the shower... Breakfast not great. If you want an authentic Thai place with a mixed crowd and not many people, there are cheaper places around, but facilities will probably not as good.

Great staff, wonder place during low season
