Nice hotel in a quiet corner of busy city.

nice place as usual. not my first stay. hotel is always spic and span. but this trip my room and my friend's room both had problems with the lighting (cannot switch off the lights at night). other than that, the hotel is very nice.

always appreciated the location but its central location can be the trouble too. if you need a taxi, it is not very hard, but getting through the traffic can be quite distresing.

walking to/from train stations (2 networks - bts and mrt) is not far for me (about 10min leisure walk) but may be considered far for older folks due to the uneven footpaths and poorly connected walkways.

also not extremely difficult (not extremely easy too) to get from here to the airport express station in makkasan. best way to cut time and cost is to take taxi from hotel to airport express station at makassan, maybe 45 to 50 bht (can be anything from 10min, 30min or more - traffic hell).

train ticket is 190bht per pax for a 15~20min journey.

direct journey from hotel to international airport costs about 350bht including toll and small tip.

Great location
