Terrible stay that almost ruined our vacay in Koh Lanta

The staff focus most of their attention to maintaining their pool and only displayed a genuine sense of interest for our group when we inquired about tours or transportation (both of which I assume were commissionable). Khum Lanta is clearly a family ran business, however they do not treat their patrons like family or even guests. Often times our interactions with the staff were short & straight to the point. The ladies who worked there made us feel very uncomfortable at times with their staring, whispering & giggling.
The rooms we booked (dlx pool view & bungalow with AC) both did not have phones to contact the front desk & had strong odors of perfume. When we asked for extra towels we were told we would need to switch out our old towels first. The deluxe pool view room seemed to be more up to date & did not have much of an insect issue as the bungalow our friends stayed in. When they asked to switch rooms they were told the property was completely sold out.

Avoid!!! Rude money grabbers!

Very nice bungalow but not on the beach
The facility itself is nice. The bungalows are big, modern, clean, and very nice. The pool is clean and enjoyable. You are not on the beach, and the walk to the beach is either through a strange aband... อ่านต่อ

Good overall but know what you're getting
