Older couple

Layana is a premium quality resort where service with a smile really means what it says. The comfort level is excellent, the willingness of management and staff to go that extra distance all add up to a premium experience. Sadly, although a dress code applies in the restaurant for evening, the management seem unable to encourage guests to rise to this simple standard. A collared shirt, dress shorts and appropriate footwear is a simple enough requirement. We had to tolerate bare foot diners in crumpled shirts and shorts and on our last evening, two young men in their short pyjamas??????? T shirts and shorts imprinted with bananas. So, while Layana is a premium resort, this cannot be said for some guests. Loud Chinese yelling into their mobile phones did not add to the dining pleasure either.
