Aspiring to be 5-star but coming up a short

for a hotel part of the small luxury hotel group, wishing to compete with the otehr big 5-star hotels, i think it came up a little short. facilities overall are excellent with a beautiful pool, beachside front and spacious and comfortable rooms. buffet breakfast was very good as were the other in-hotel restaurants. but it was the staff service that that we found disappointing - we arrived to find a twin bed instead of a double; this we were not fussed about, but when our receptionist said they would correct it at turn down service, we expected as much. so, after being out all evening on a nice romantic dinner, it was very disappointing to return and still find twin beds. unacceptable that a couple looking for romance have to sleep separately, even more unacceptable for the hotel to not deliver on its promise.
