Mouldy, musty A/C system

The Old Phuket is in a good location central Karon Beach. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast included was good. Unfortunately the Air Conditioners are in serious need of servicing and you can’t adjust the temperature controls. We were told they were preset at 25deg Celsius for the entire resort. More like 20deg in our experience. I pulled A/C filters out and full of fluff & dust. Engineer replaced. We stayed in a swim out pool room in the ‘new’ serene wing. Only thing I can say is the OLD Phuket lives up to it’s name. And as many other Ppl reviewed, the beds are rock hard. We left 2 days early on a 9 night booking. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Very accommodating

Careful to choose this hotel! Very bad experience
You can't see the beach or ocean from the hotel. It is so dissapointing. Staff is bad. They can ignore you even you asked order politely. Wrong booking and had to spent an hour or more to settle after... อ่านต่อ
