This is a well run, scenic hotel

While in Laos, we booked one night at this border hotel in Chiang Khong. We were on our way to Chiang Rai and had heard from a good source that Chiang Khong was a better place to stop than Huay Xai, Laos.
To our utter surprise both the hotel and the town impressed us so much that we wished we could stay longer (but had prebooked the next night elsewhere.) This is a friendly, laid back town with good food and good hotels. The Day waterfront had a great view of the Mekong River and the town of Huay Xai on the opposite bank. The owners speak excellent English, are friendly, and offer good tips.
I unhesitatingly recommend this hotel.

Can't do enough for You!
