Totally worth it

I was here with my partner some time in june. Been very busy since i got back home. I really wanted to write a proper review for Deevana plaza phuket which is why i took this long.
I wrote to the management regarding some of my requests which seem a little odd, but the hotel respects it and arranged it the way i want with a plesant surprise!
Because it was to celebrate the anniversary of me and my partner, i requested for a high floor room and another weird request was to remind them to make sure the bathroom is spick and span as my partner is extremely particular about baths. And i also told the team that i do not want any deco in the room as my partner dislike it, sure enough there wasnt any! All my requests were attended to and what was more is they gave us a complimentary anniversary cake and a bottle of barcadi breezer. It wasnt extravagant stuffs but it was really the thought that counts. I was really touched by the gesture. The hotel went the extra mile to make our stay extremely pleasant. I really could not fault them for anything.
Room: It is a great room size with balcony. The management was also thoughtful enough to light up some aroma oil in the bathroom which leaves a very plesant and calming scent through the whole room. The flooring was well polished and clean, bed was very comfortable. Every corner of the room is nothing but perfection. The chairs and small table in the balcony were good although it looked kinda used. But hey, the table and chairs were out there rain or shine, its only reasonable that it looked used. It didnt bother me at all cos it still serve its function. Housekeeping team made sure to clean out room daily and they were all smile despite some mess.
Pool: We used their pool twice during 2 nights, its an awesome and good sized pool with jacuzzi area. Theres a swim up bar too which we didnt get to use as we went quite late. Lots of sun lounger. Only down side was the pool felt a little sandy and slippery when i sat down at
