Great location but not the resort we thought it would be
We were travelling as a couple and were disappointed that we were given a room that also included a set of bunk beds decorated with children's toys. It wasn't the romantic setting we were looking for.
The location was excellent. It was easy to get to the beach and to nearby restaurants.
The gym was good compared to other hotel gyms we have experienced. There was free water and towels in the gym, as well as a toilet. All equipment was working well. It was good to see not only cardio equipment, but also dumbells and a couple of machines for weight training. There were also yoga mats and balls for doing body weight exercises.
We tried the new rooftop bar on our last evening and were a bit disappointed. It looked like it had been quickly assembled as all of the furniture was made out of used pallets.
The staff were helpful as they assisted us with organising day trips.
All in all it was a good hotel, but didn't have the resort feel that we had expected.
