A good getaway to escape from the crowd and unwind

if you are looking for a nice getway, away from the crowd, hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place for you. it is surrounded by a very natural surrounding untouched by urban development. you are surrounded by the green and village communities. the resort also faces the sea. at low tide, you can walk far out into soft sand and explore the natural landscape- crabs and pick up sea shells. it is also quiet enough for you to lie by the pool or sit at the balcony to read a book and not get disturbed. i should also add that the pool is quite a pull.

the staff is friendly and helpful. the rooms are cleaned and reasonably priced. but you be cognisant about choosing this option. it is some distance away from krabi town or the tourist districts. travelling out (one tuk tuk ride, a boat and a car ride comes up to almost 800 baht) regularly will not be cheap. the resort can facilitate some activities but it isn't cheap. you can, however, consider taking up the mangrove tour. the tour package is just a ride through the mangroves so it isn't fantastic. but it brings you to a small fish farm where seafood is reasonably priced and you should go for it.

high speed wireless internet is available at the main lobby area but the rooms are out of reach. there is only one restaurant and you will have all your three meals here. the breakfast has limited variety but is ok. if you can take spicy food, go for the southern thai dishes. the tom-yum soup is great too. overall the thai cuisine prepared at the restaurant are up to mark. but you might not want to stay more than three days as you will get bored quickly (both with your time and food).

bring mosquito repellant as the evenings can give a nasty bite. but it is all worth it if peace, quiet and tranquility is what you seek.
