Average stay at Sandalwood.

I was expecting private pool for every villa but was disappointed that our villa does not have one. The central pool is very small. Villa overall is clean and well equipped. However, I was not very pleased with an incident at their restaurant during one of the 6 days that we stayed there. My 11 year old one son was asking me a question about the food served at the breakfast table but being shushed by one of the staff. At the same time, another Caucasian toddler was making a lot more noise at another nearby table and the same staff was chatting with his father and teasing the boy. This was a true sign of discrimination between Asian and Caucasian. Other staff and drivers are generally nice and helpful. Originally planned to sign up Island Tour via the hotel, however we found out by chance that the same tour was 20% cheaper at Chaweng Central.
