Quiet and relaxing but in the city

I stayed with my Thai girlfriend and her 16 year old daughter so I can't say for sure how good the English of the staff was. The hotel is small and fairly quiet but is just off the Tapae Road and a short walk from the city centre. The rooms are pretty good and our 2 rooms were right next to the pool. Unfortunately the pool like others I've used in Thailand (Fern Paradise near Chang Mai and Eastin in Bangkok)is very cold which is a shame. I stayed in all 3 this time and never saw anyone use them apart from me.
