Pop-out of this hostel instead of Pop-In
Very sad and unkind behavior by the staff of this hostel. We arrived tired and the room airconditioning was turned off. Had to climb 2 floors with the luggage - then back down to ask them to turn the airconditioning on. At this point (and not when we checked in) they say that the a/c is rationed. They switch on after 5pm and upto early morning. During the day time no a/c. Then the room had a person who was coughing through the night. So we spend the night fully awake worried that this could be contagious. When we asked for a change of room they made us bring the luggage down (since checkout was 11 and checkin was 2pm). Once we reached down they said that we could actually checkin since the bed was empty. So we climb back with luggage to 3rd floor.
Then they gave us a coupon for free bbq between 7.30pm and 8.30 pm. When we got to the hostel at 7.45 pm the bbq items were all gone. We seen the staff eating more of it later when we were sitting there...just a sad hostel to stay. AVOID!
