Walls were water damaged, bathroom was outside under a lean to asbestos roofed verander. Resort was let go a bit but for the money you couldn't expect much more I guess. We left and went to the Sunset hotel down the road. 4 times more expensive but worth it. Especially as there is not much to do in this part of the island except relax in the resort

Paradise... at a cost
The Am Samui is on the quietest side of the island and is (mostly) peaceful. There is not a lot close by save a few restaurants, but that was what we were looking for. You can hire scooters for 200 a ... อ่านต่อ

Secluded Hotel close to the beach but not the best
