Overall great experience with caveats

great location and general facilities, we were there in the low season so resort was about 30% occupied, resort is on the best patch of the white sand beach on koh ngai, peaceful water with reasonable amount of fish but few corals are alive.

a few caveats during our stay: for a couple of days there's a constant smoke coming from the wet tree branches and leaves piled close to the bungalows in the back, this was quite disturbing as we came all the way from beijing where the pollution is horrible, the staff reacted promptly to put out the under burn but thd is definitely something to watch out for if you're sensitive to smoke.

dining is ok but not a huge variety and a little bit expensive for what you get (up to 200baht for a pad si jew).

overall a good experience but there're rooms for improvements.
