upgrade was a downgrade!

originally we were to book a poolside acess room. when offered us an upgrade to a priveate cottage for a minimal amount, we jumped at the chance as we were given a time limit on which to decide. On arriving at panalee we were met with drinks and the reception seemed very nice. however when we were taken to the upgraded cottage it was very basic and the decor was not as nice as the original room. the bathroom was old and tired and did not have a bath tub as we had expected (seen as the pool acess rooms did). The tv as decribed as cable only had news channels in english, although the resort has got a pile of dvds you can borrow. the cottage was ok, but it was certainly not an upgrade. we requested to change to the original pool side access but these were no longer available. we managed to get the pool access room for the last night of our stay, it was far nicer and i was disappointed that we upgraded. the poolside access room is 10x better than the cottages

Water Problem in Bath Room

Lack of service
